Overview 

This is a camera mount-shotgun microphone which offers a directional audio capture, adjustable gain and filtering that comes with a professional recording bundle ideal for vloggers, Youtubers and mobile journalists.

This recording bundle includes the V-Mic D3 Pro camera-mount shotgun microphone, a D-XLR 3.5mm to XLR adapter that converts phantom power to plug-in power, a Rycote Duo-Lyre pistol grip boompole shockmount, a Rycote Lyre adjustable shoe/pole/tripod shockmount, one 3.5mm TRRS cable, a USB charging cable, a foam windscreen, and a semi-rigid carrying pouch that makes recording easy and convenient.

Features

Auto-Configuring 3.5mm Connector

With a a microprocessor that automatically adapts its 3.5mm TRRS connector, this microphone works with most most 3.5mm microphone jacks. It is compatible with many many DSLRs, camcorders, smartphones and tablets (late-model iOS devices require Apple's Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter), portable audio recorders, bodypack transmitters, and laptops.

Gain Knob

The gain of up to 20 dB is added on a linear scale, so you can dial in the exact amount of boost you need for the shot.

On-Board Low Cut Filters

The V-Mic D3 Pro opts for a single top-mounted button instead of a sunken switch that requires a pointed object to flip.

Convenient Accessories

You can mount the D3 Pro on cameras with the rycote shock mount. Underneath the hot shoe you will find a threaded female mounting point so you can mount it with a friction arm and use the V-Mic D3 Pro as a plant mic. The bundle kit also allows you to mount the microphone professionally to a boom pole with an included Duo-Lyre on a pistol grip and a D-XLR (phantom power to 3-volts 3.5mm adapter).

Low-Noise Electronics

It features a 14mm condenser capsule and low-noise, low-distortion electronics to provide clean audio with a high signal-to-noise ratio.

Long Battery Life

With the built-in 320mAh lithium battery, the mic can run up to 51 hours. The internal battery recharges via USB in approximately two hours.

Convenient Power Conversion

The D-XLR can convert 12 to 48 VDC phantom power down to 3V plug-in power, which allows microphones with 3.5mm TRS connectors to run off phantom power. The D-XLR is specially designed for Deity V-Series mics to trigger their Smart 3.5mm TRRS outputs with bias power from a standard XLR input.
